ZONERA is one platform for real conversations, skill games with ZORA on the line, AI helpers that think with you, and Zones for every topic that matters. Post an opinion, challenge someone to chess, share a hot take, earn ZORA from great contributions. Every feature is connected.
Every Zone is a real community. Every post is an invitation to respond. The platform runs on the quality of what its members put into it.
Personal attacks. Disagree with the idea, not the person. Debate is welcome. Insults, name-calling, and targeted hostility are not.
Harassment and threats. No repeated targeting of any individual. No direct, indirect, or implied threats. No publishing of personal information.
Hate speech. Content that dehumanises, degrades, or incites hatred against any group based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, disability, or nationality will be removed immediately.
Illegal content. Content that violates applicable law is prohibited. This includes child exploitation material, facilitation of criminal activity, and distribution of stolen personal data.
Politics. ZONERA is a politics-free space. No political discussion, debate, commentary, endorsements, election content, policy arguments, or government criticism of any kind. No exceptions.
Wars and armed conflicts. Content related to wars, military conflicts, military operations, armed disputes, casualties, ceasefires, or any active or historical armed conflict is not permitted. This applies regardless of perspective or intent.
Governments and world leaders. Disrespectful, critical, or mocking content directed at any head of state, government, royal family, public official, or national institution is not permitted. This applies to all countries equally.
Sexually explicit content. No sexual content, solicitation, nudity, sexual emoji combinations, dating or hookup solicitation, relationship-seeking, or matchmaking of any kind.
Slurs and targeted attacks. Swearing is fine, ZONERA is 13+, not a kids app. Slurs, hate speech, and insults aimed at a specific person are not. Come at the idea, never the person. Prefer a cleaner feed? Turn on Clean mode in Settings and profanity is hidden just for you.
Drug promotion. No selling, buying, or promoting illegal substances.
Body shaming. No content targeting someone's physical appearance.
Self-harm. Content that promotes, encourages, or provides methods for self-harm or suicide is silently removed. This includes pro-anorexia/bulimia content.
Spam and manipulation. No artificial engagement, fake accounts, coordinated inauthentic behaviour, or promotional content of any kind.
Vote and platform manipulation. No vote manipulation, brigading, or coordinated mass-reporting.
Media stays where ZONERA supports it. Post text in text fields. Use only the media features ZONERA provides. Content that hides files, unsafe links, or unsupported media may be removed.
Cinema maturity labels must be honest. Creator films must use the correct ZONERA maturity guidance and content advisories. Do not hide mature content, flashing lights, self-harm themes, nudity, sexual content, substance use, horror, violence, or heavy language from the review team.
Companion and Clipz honesty. Do not misrepresent Companion activity, status, or Clipz capture. Do not sell, rent, share, fake, or manipulate open squads, crews, parties, ratings, or game status.
Links in DMs. URLs are blocked in direct messages to protect users from phishing and scams.
English only. ZONERA is an English-language platform. Posts, comments, DMs, live chats, game chat, and other user-facing messages must be written in English. Accented characters (café, résumé) are allowed. Non-Latin scripts (Arabic, Chinese, Cyrillic, etc.) are automatically blocked.
Readability. Content must be written in plain, readable text. Deliberately garbled, coded, or formatted text designed to evade moderation will be blocked automatically.
Filter evasion. Attempting to bypass content moderation through character substitution, spacing, coded language, emoji combinations, or split messages is treated as the original violation. The platform detects and blocks evasion attempts automatically.
ZONERA AI (@zonerai) is available on the platform. It adapts to every conversation by verifying claims, offering perspective, or lightening the mood. It is clearly labelled as AI on every interaction. It exists to make conversations more interesting, not to replace human thought. Summoning ZONERA AI uses the live price shown at purchase. Some posts may include clearly-labelled AI-generated content used to seed new community Zones.
ZONERA uses automated checks, user reports, and human review to enforce these Guidelines. Enforcement is graduated and scales with severity:
We do not review every message before it appears. ZONERA may review content and take action after automated detection, user reports, legal requests, or abuse signals.
Warning, strike, under review, temporary ban, permanent ban.
- Strike: recorded violation. Three strikes within an active period escalate to under-review status. You can post and play; strikes are visible to you in Settings.
- Under review (soft ban): your account is read-only while a moderator reviews flagged activity. There is no fixed lift date. The restriction lifts when the review completes. Open game and ZONERA Picks positions remain valid; marketplace listings are paused.
- Temporary ban: fixed-duration suspension with an explicit end date. You cannot post, play, trade, or DM. Open positions are settled at fair market value; marketplace listings are removed; ZBUCKS items remain attached to the account.
- Permanent ban: irreversible termination. ZORA balances, virtual items, marketplace listings, and open positions are forfeited with no compensation. ZBUCKS purchases are not refundable except where required by law. Some permanent bans include one appeal within 30 days when your notice or account state says appeal is available; otherwise the decision is final.
You can ask Support to review eligible enforcement actions. Warnings, strikes, under-review restrictions, removed posts, and appeal-eligible permanent bans can be reviewed once. Temporary bans usually end on the stated date and are not separately appealed. ZONERA may make actions final without appeal for severe safety, security, legal, payment, ban-evasion, account-deletion, or abuse-prevention reasons.
Earning ZORA. Eligible posts, comments, upvotes received, streak milestones, games, ZONERA Picks, referrals, and launch bonuses can award ZORA, subject to daily caps, fraud checks, moderation status, and current platform rules. Exact rates and caps are shown in ZONERA and may change.
Spending ZORA. ZORA can be used only where ZONERA shows ZORA as an accepted currency, such as supported game entries, ZONERA Picks entries, marketplace listings, AI summon, private zone creation, watch parties, boosts, and eligible shop items. Every transaction must show price, fee, currency, and final result before completion.
ZBUCKS items. Some cosmetics, identity items, pets, glows, hair, skins, and drops may require ZBUCKS or offer dual-currency pricing. ZBUCKS are prepaid in-platform credits purchased through the payment method shown at checkout, such as Stripe on web or Apple In-App Purchase in the iOS app. Paid randomized ZBUCKS packs and reward spins require a date of birth showing you are at least 18 and may be blocked by region. ZBUCKS items are not refundable except where required by law.
Reposts & Quotes. Repost shares a post with your followers. Quote adds your take and creates a new post that can earn standard ZORA when eligible, subject to the daily cap; quote posts do not appear in Zones. All content rules apply to quote text.
Pins. Post owners can pin up to 3 comments per post. Pinning is recognition only. No ZORA awarded.
Daily cap. Posts, comments, and upvotes share a daily ZORA cap. Game results, ZONERA Picks outcomes, streak milestones, and referral payouts may use separate limits shown in ZONERA.
Packs, drops, and reward rolls. Pack contents, reward roll odds, guarantees, prices, cooldowns, fees, eligible items, and payouts follow the rules shown in ZONERA. Do not exploit, automate, or misrepresent probabilities, outcomes, or item availability.
Younger members and regional safety. Do not try to bypass age or regional safety settings around DMs, live chat, status, games, Clipz, packs, purchases, social discovery, or ads. Do not create accounts for underage users, misstate age information, use VPNs to evade regional limits, or help someone else avoid a safety limit. These limits protect users and help ZONERA comply with local rules.
Fair play. Resigning forfeits the ZORA entry and affects ELO. All game moves are validated by ZONERA. Farming, coordinated upvote rings, pair-staking, multi-account abuse, and exploit attempts result in resets and account action. ZONERA uses platform integrity checks to detect and respond to suspicious activity.
Private Zones. Invite-only communities. Not visible to non-members and not listed on member profiles. Private zone content is only visible to members.
Prices and rates may change. Current values are visible at every transaction in ZONERA.
Use the report button on any post or comment to report a violation. Reports go through ZONERA safety review. Malicious or false reports are themselves a violation. You can track the status of any concern via the Support page.
DMs are subject to the same content rules as public posts. All messages are subject to review. Harassment, hate speech, illegal content, and spam in DMs are violations and will be treated the same as public violations. You can only DM users you mutually follow, unless the other person has enabled public DMs. Blocked users cannot message you. Banned or restricted accounts cannot send DMs. You can report any message that violates community guidelines.
Companion notifications and quick actions only open ZONERA surfaces. They do not make off-platform chat exempt from these rules, and they must not be used to harass, spam, or pressure someone into responding.
Posts can be deleted within 30 minutes of posting. After 30 minutes, posts become permanent and cannot be deleted by the user. This is to prevent abuse of the vote and comment systems.
Comments can be deleted within 30 minutes of posting. After 30 minutes, comments become permanent.
Direct messages can be deleted within 30 minutes of sending. Deleted messages show as "message deleted" to both participants.
If you need content removed after the 30-minute window for a legitimate reason (e.g. you accidentally shared personal information), contact legal@zonera.fun.
Account deletion is available from Settings. The flow requires your password and (if 2FA is enabled) a 6-digit code emailed to you. Once initiated, your account is deactivated immediately and queued for permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period. Sign in or submit a ticket within that window to cancel. On permanent deletion, ZORA balances are forfeited, all sessions are invalidated, and your handle is anonymized to @deleted in posts/comments/DMs you sent. ZBUCKS purchases are not refundable except where required by law.
